“ST. KIRIL AND METODIJ“SCHOOL Bitola, Macedonia
“St. Kiril and Metodij“School is a cultural monument in the centre of Bitola, and it was built in1897 when Macedonia was under Turkish occupation. The teaching language has been Macedonian since December 1944.
Now “St. Kiril and Metodij“School is a primary school with more than 403 students, aged between 6 and 15. There are 36 teachers constantly participating into educational projects or seminars and trainings for professional development.
We have ten classrooms, a library, a computer studies lab and a technical education lab. Our school provides modern education and develops good relationships with students, their parents, and the local community.
Students in our school are members of many school clubs such as; the drama club, the art club, young mathematicians and young journalists clubs or the folkloric club. During the school year we organize other extracurricular activities: school outings, contests and competitions. Our school has been awarded “Kliment Ohridski”, the most prestigious national award, and the city award for its results.
